umeshjoshi16/Chat-App ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a full stack real time chat app where people can sign up, log in, and then search for other users to start a private one to one conversation.

I want messages to update instantly without refreshing, with typing indicators, online and offline status, and last seen info. Save chat history so conversations are still there when I come back. Add a clean responsive interface that works well on mobile too.

Also include profile management, so users can upload a profile picture and it gets stored securely in cloud storage instead of directly in the database. Use secure access for images, and keep passwords safe with hashing and JWT based login.

Please make the app feel polished and simple to use, with a modern chat layout, user list, conversation view, and search so I can quickly find someone and start chatting. If you need current docs for any setup details, look them up online.
