Build me a fast C++ command line tool called CFETools or cfx that can compress and decompress files and folders, and also encrypt and decrypt them. I want it to feel simple to use from the terminal, like encode and decode commands, with a help screen and a version check.

It should support encoding a single file or a whole folder, and have an option to turn encryption off for a plain all in one mode. Please include a way to detect what kind of encoded file it is when decoding so the user does not have to guess. If possible, add support for diff and patch workflows too, plus splitting and hashing since those are part of the tool idea.

Make it work on Linux and Windows, keep it lightweight and fast, and use the existing C++ project structure if there is one. If you need current docs for anything, look them up online.
