Build me a Home Assistant custom integration that shows live sports scores for a team or athlete and keeps updating them automatically.

I want it to work for the big leagues like NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, college sports, soccer, golf, tennis, MMA, racing, and volleyball, using ESPN score data when available. It should create a sensor with useful game details like score, status, teams, and other match info, and it should be easy to add to dashboards.

Please also support a way to use custom APIs for leagues that are not built in, and let me override missing or incorrect team info like names, logos, and colors when the source data is incomplete. If there are simple Home Assistant services that help change or interact with the sensor, include those too.

Make it installable through HACS and keep it compatible with a matching companion card for the dashboard. If you need to look up current API or Home Assistant docs online, go ahead.
