Build me a personal macOS setup repo that can fully provision a new Mac from scratch and keep it in sync over time.

I want one main setup script that installs the missing prerequisites, links my dotfiles, and then applies everything else automatically, like Homebrew packages, app installs, macOS defaults, my preferred shell, Touch ID for sudo, and a basic power setup. It should also be able to show me what would change before making changes, and let me run separate tasks later to install or check packages, relink dotfiles, find broken symlinks, and format or lint the repo.

Please organize it so the actual machine settings and dotfile config live in a clean, readable way, with docs for the manual steps I still need to do on a fresh machine, like account setup, hostname, tools, and any AI tooling. If something depends on current setup instructions or macOS behavior, look up the latest docs online and make it reliable.
