vlang/vinix ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me this operating system project so I can boot into a working Vinix image and try it in QEMU or on real hardware.

I want the repo to compile into a usable pre alpha OS that boots to a shell, has the desktop image option, networking, storage, and the basic tools mentioned in the README like bash, zsh, X11, Wayland, and the native desktop. If anything is missing or outdated, please follow the existing build scripts and docs, and look up current docs online if you need to.

Make sure the default build still works for amd64, and the arm64 path should also be supported, especially for Apple Silicon and Alpine based userland. Keep the changes simple and easy to understand, and do not break the current build and run scripts.

If there are any obvious gaps in the README or build flow, clean them up too, but keep the scope to what this project already seems to support.
