watzon/cursor-linux-installer ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a simple Linux installer for Cursor that feels more like a real app setup and less like a random AppImage download.

I want a shell script I can run from the terminal or pipe from a URL, and it should install Cursor, add a cursor-installer command to my PATH, and make it easy to launch, check the version, and update to stable or latest. It should also create a normal cursor command that forwards to the real Cursor command if it exists, or falls back to the installer if not.

Please support two install modes, the normal AppImage way and a fallback mode that works without FUSE by extracting the app instead. It should be smart enough to warn me if something is missing, and it should include an uninstall script that cleans up the app and the installer files, with a choice about removing settings too.
