webKit/webkit ? reverse-engineered prompt

I want to get this WebKit project building and running locally without having to guess at the setup.

Please walk me through the easiest path for a new contributor, and if anything is missing, add whatever is needed so I can build a debug version, run it in Safari or the browser app, and know how to test changes. If you can, make the instructions clearer and more beginner friendly, especially for macOS and Linux, since this repo looks pretty complex.
