windingwind/zotero-pdf-translate — reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a Zotero 7 and 8 plugin that helps researchers translate what they are reading without leaving Zotero. When I open a PDF, EPub, or saved webpage, I want to select text and immediately see the translation in a small pop up and in a side panel. It should also let me translate highlights, annotation comments, notes, item titles, and abstracts.

Please include settings so I can choose the target language, turn automatic translation on or off, change the font size, and pick from many translation services like Google, Bing, DeepL style services, LibreTranslate, and self hosted options when keys or server URLs are needed.

I also want a simple standalone translation window, a dictionary mode for single words with pronunciation buttons if available, a way to add selected text and its translation into an active note, and a shortcut like Ctrl T for translating selected text.
