wolfetplayer/RealRTCW ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me the RealRTCW mod for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, using the source in this repo.

I want a modern single player version that still feels like the original game, but with the extras from the project like widescreen support, better controller support, subtitles, the weapon wheel, Steam features, and the upgraded gameplay systems. Make sure it runs smoothly on desktop, and if there are platform specific build steps for Linux or Windows, set those up so I can compile it without digging through everything manually.

If anything depends on current engine docs or third party setup, look up the latest info online and make the build as straightforward as possible. I mainly want a working build that launches cleanly and includes the RealRTCW changes, not just the vanilla RTCW source.
