Build me a Mac screen recording app called Kap that lives in the menu bar and makes it really easy to capture part of the screen or the whole screen. I want a simple flow where I click the menu bar icon, choose what I want to record, press record, and then stop it from the same place when I am done. While recording, it should be easy to pause and bring up a few extra options from the menu bar too.

Please make it feel polished and lightweight, with a clean interface and a smooth recording experience. If it makes sense, include support for plugins so the app can be extended later.
