Build me a Windows desktop app in Python that helps me find, organize, and play media files spread across different folders and drives.

I want to be able to add folders to scan, search by file name fast, and keep everything indexed in the background without freezing the app. The main screen should show a nice dashboard with totals like number of files, storage used, and other useful stats, plus filters for videos, images, audio, and documents. It should also let me sort by name, size, and modified date, and preview files in a side panel, including text based files and image details.

Please include a TV style playback mode too, where I can create channels from folders or grouped media, play items sequentially or randomly, switch channels easily, and see the next items in a simple schedule view. I also want quick actions like open file, show in Explorer, random media, and delete with confirmation. If you need current docs for any libraries, look them up online.
