Build me a desktop AI assistant app like ARGO that runs locally first and keeps the user’s data on their own machine. I want it to feel easy for normal people, with a clean chat interface, model management, and a research mode where the assistant can plan a task, break it into steps, use tools, and give a structured final report.

It should support local models through Ollama, plus API models like OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek, and OpenAI compatible services. Users should be able to switch models during chats. It should handle common document types like PDF, Word, Excel, PPT, Markdown, text, and web pages.
