yaxarax/dotfiles ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a personal dotfiles repo that I can clone onto a new machine and set up quickly with one script.
I want it organized for GNU Stow, with separate folders for Fish, Zsh, Bash, Git, Neovim, Tmux, SSH, and GPG, and a setup script that installs the right packages and then links everything in place. Make Fish the main shell, but keep Zsh and Bash configs too. Neovim should come ready for everyday coding, Tmux should have a comfortable setup, and Git should include useful aliases and a good diff pager.
Please make the installer work on Arch, Debian or Ubuntu, and Fedora or RHEL, and handle the common tools I’d need for development like Git, Neovim, Tmux, shell helpers, and language toolchains. Keep secrets out of the repo, and make it easy to add machine specific local config files without committing them. If you need to check current docs online for anything, go ahead.
