Build me a public dotfiles and workstation setup repo that I can run with Ansible, so I can set up a new machine quickly and also use it as a base for private or client specific overrides later.

I want a clean default entrypoint that sets up a desktop workstation, with a Wayland and Hyprland path for Linux, plus a reusable macOS baseline. Make it easy to separate public defaults from private machine specific stuff, like secrets, local overrides, and app owned state, so a downstream repo can layer on top without fighting the public one.

Please include clear documentation for how to run it, how the profile system works, and how someone should extend it safely. It would be great if the repo supports a simple quick start, sensible defaults, and a structure that makes it obvious where roles, playbooks, vars, and custom templates live.
