zaiv45404-svg/dream-garage-mern ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a simple savings tracker for my dream car where people can sign up, log in, and only see their own account. I want users to be able to set a goal name and target amount, then add deposits and withdrawals with a date, source, and optional note. The app should show their progress clearly so they can see how close they are to reaching the goal.

Please make it feel clean and easy to use on both desktop and phone. I’d like the frontend and backend wired together, with real user accounts, password security, and login sessions that keep data private per user. If you need to look up current docs or best practices online, go ahead. Keep it simple, modern, and ready to run locally with a MongoDB database.
