Build me a small command line tool that can look inside PNG and BMP images for hidden messages and files.
I want it to scan common steganography patterns like least significant bit hiding, compressed data, and a few known formats, then print anything it finds in a readable way. It should be able to either try everything automatically or let me ask for a specific extraction pattern when I know what I am looking for. Please make the output easy to understand, with clear labels for what was found, any strings or file type hints, and enough detail for someone to dig deeper if needed.
It would be great if this works as a Ruby gem and a normal terminal command, with a help screen, examples, and support for verbose output. If you need to check current docs or behavior for image parsing or steganography detection, look it up online first.
