zntr1/PlayCounter ? reverse-engineered prompt

Reverse engineered prompt

Build me a Windows desktop app that automatically tracks playtime for games and other programs by watching what’s actually running on the PC, so it works no matter if the game was launched from Steam, Epic, GOG, EA, Ubisoft, Battle.net, a shortcut, or just an exe.

I want a clean now playing view, a game library, and a session history page, plus a tray icon so I can see when something is being tracked. It should match unknown executables to games when possible, let me add something locally if it’s not recognized, and let me ignore specific exes with a blacklist. Keep all play history on the machine, no account needed.

It should also support importing local Steam library data, manual session entry, and a built in updater. Make it feel polished and privacy focused, and if you need current docs for Tauri or React, look them up online first.
