Build me a small Chrome extension called Dot Bypasser. I don’t have a detailed spec, but I want it to feel like a simple browser helper for opening links that get wrapped in annoying redirect pages.

It should have a clean popup with an on off switch, a place to paste a URL, and a button that gives me a cleaned or more direct link if the extension can figure it out. When I’m browsing, it should quietly detect supported redirect style links and either show a simple continue option or take me to the final safe page without extra clicks.

Keep it lightweight, easy to install in Chrome as an unpacked extension, and make the interface simple enough for a normal user. Add basic status messages so I know if it worked, failed, or found nothing to change. Since there isn’t a README, choose sensible defaults and include short setup instructions.
